A Winning Performance

It was Thanksgiving day at school yesterday and the kids celebrated with a live performance for the parents followed by a family Thanksgiving feast. Lately, Rhett has been coming home singing lyrics to some of the songs they have been practicing so I was anticipating a stellar performance from him. He has even been putting the hand movements with the music like they practice at school. While yesterday's hand motions weren't exactly how the director had choreographed, they did make me laugh. Rhett's class played the part of the Indians with fringed shirts and little Indian names for each child. While Rhett's teacher appropriately named him "Little Spikey Haired Boy," I think for the Christmas pageant I'll suggest "Little Booger Angel."

What parent wouldn't be proud??
