Ho, Ho, Ho

Tonight we took Rhett to the Schlitterbahn Hill Country Christmas to look at the spectacular Christmas lights and to see the big man himself. He was well prepped on the car ride to New Braunfels and knew that once he sat on Santa's lap he was supposed to tell him what he wanted for Christmas. We practiced this routine over and over again. To my surprise, he was comfortable with the idea of getting up close to Santa and didn't seem scared or nervous. (I thought for sure this would all change when he was face to face with the Christmas icon.) When the time came to climb up on Santa's knee, he did just that. He sat there still as a statue. Then, Santa asked him his name and just as he had rehearsed he blurted out - tractor!
