36 Week Update

We've reached the 36 week mark and things are looking good. Reid is measuring 6 pounds 10 ounces and we will be induced on January 13th (unless he decides to come earlier on his own.) My fingers are staying crossed. At this pace, he is predicted to be in the 8 pound range when he gets here. This is only slightly smaller than Rhett was when he was born (9lbs), but we will use it to our advantage when, literally, push comes to shove. One way or another he will be here in three short weeks and we are all looking forward to becoming a family of four.

I was hoping to be able to post some sonogram pictures from today, but Reid had other plans. His hands were in front of his face so we didn't get a good profile shot. I can tell you that he will probably take after his big brother in the looks department since most of what I could see of his face was cheeks. For those of you who have forgotten what our little sumo wrestler looked like, I've posted some pictures below.
