Boo Day Battle

For parents whose children are too young to argue, Halloween is a fun time to dress up your child in the cutest, scariest or funniest costume of your choice. As a mother, I am always drawn to the cute and innocent themes. Fathers, I've learned, are far different. To them, the most precious things come covered with blood and gore.

And so the Strauss Boo Day Battle began...

I, in favor of the little slugger in his cute baseball jacket, short pants and black-out under eye make up. And Steve, pulling for The Chainsaw Massacre's Leatherface with blood soaked apron and chainsaw killing machine. After many heated debates on appropriate Halloween attire, we decided to take a tip from Boo Day's famous slogan. This year Rhett would have two costumes - one a bit tricky and one a real treat.
