Tonight, as we sat in the bath tub practicing "The Wheels on the Bus', Rhett decided to put his own positive spin on the popular children's song. As many of you know, the original song begins with, "the wheels on the bus go round and round." Then, it is followed by, "the babies on the bus go wa, wa, wa." Lately, I've been reminding Rhett that babies cry to help prepare him for the arrival of baby Reid and the inevitable cries that will echo in our ears. We talk about why babies cry and what we can do to help make them happy. I'm not sure if this influenced his version of the song, but it was at this point where Rhett decided happy babies are best. I tend to agree.
We have the smartest boy in the world!at least until Reid gets here.
