Keen Observations

Today, Rhett and I were trying to beat the heat so we decided to pull out the Mainstreet Village and play farm. As I pulled out the pieces Rhett began naming them off one by one: horsey, cow, sheep, puppy... I was glad to see that he was doing well with his animal recognition. We continued to set up the village by putting animals and people in their proper places. All in all, there are about 50 farm pieces ranging from horses and hay to tractors and chickens. And, with every animal there is a person to match. After a few minutes of playing, I noticed Rhett was paying a lot of attention to one of the little men. I asked him who it was, fully expecting him to tell me it was a 'boy' since that is his go to answer for any male person these days. Without hesitation, he told me 'Papaw." I just laughed and smiled at the obvious resemblance.
