Well, It's Not Breakfast At Tiffany's...

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is there to get you going. In a way, breakfast is reliable. It's often the same cup of coffee, cereal or toast day after day. You always know what you are going to get with breakfast. Then, there are those special breakfasts. You know the ones. The all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast or the special pancake breakfast that come around once in a while to spice things up. Today, I was reminded of the breakfast I had on The Big Island, Hawaii. It was a heavenly breakfast. It was the kind of breakfast that dreams are made of. I'm not sure what triggered this breakfast memory. It could have been the tropical fruit I ate. Regardless, I felt like I was back there on the beach enjoying a relaxing breakfast and listening to the sounds of exotic animals. I was so inspired by my breakfast memory that it made me stop and think. Why couldn't I recreate this wonderfully relaxing breakfast experience at home? So, here's to monkeys and bananas at breakfast...
