We had a wonderful opportunity to head to Vail, CO, this April for some spring skiing and family fun. Despite a few hiccups early on in the trip and a disappointing snow base we had a good time getting away with great company.

This year, Rhett stuck through two days of ski school and was skiing on his own and down some runs on the mountain by day three (with a little hand holding help from Papa and John).
While big brother was practicing his french fries and pizza on the slopes, little brother took advantage of the beautiful spring weather. We discovered a great pirate ship park and spent our days there climbing and sliding.
Although traveling with small kids is never easy, especially when you are 30 weeks pregnant, this was a great last hurrah before our family of four adds baby Cora in only eight short weeks. It was great spending some quality time with each of the boys before our lives change once again.
