Trick or Treat

How it all started...

Earlier in the year, Rhett mentioned to me that he REALLY wanted to be a garbage man for halloween. As a mom who in visions only the cutest costumes, I felt slightly panicked at the thought of this concept. He continued to tell me that he not only wanted to be a garbage man for Halloween, but that it was his career ambition as well. To be the best garbage man in the world. So, armed with my son's persistence and desire to rid the world of all it's trash I accepted the challenge and thus our Halloween theme became: Community Helpers.

I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised how cute a garbage man can be.

Rhett was all smiles in his costume. So proud that he even willingly posed for photo ops.

Reid: The Fireman
As for The General...well, his costume didn't exactly produce the same result. After ripping off his siren within the first 30 seconds of wearing is firetruck and turning red faced from all the yelling, we opted to put this sweet little fire man into a wagon (sans his fire accessories). He was much happier riding and we can always hold out hope for next year.
