Unfortunately, this summer has been spent mostly driving to and from therapy sessions, doctor appointments and post op check ups. Last week we got the negative (for us is very positive) results of Reid's MRI of the brain so we are all able to sleep a little better at night. Our littlest man is doing wonderfully post tonsillectomy and has shown a great appetite improvement and boost in energy level. Yea! We are still waiting on pending lab results which should shed more light on previous abnormalities with his amino and organic acid levels. We are hoping for the best.
While we wait, life must go on. So, we hit the road and spent a few days in Houston enjoying what is left of our summer vacation. The boys beat the heat by spending most of their time in the pool. Rhett has found confidence in the water (with the help of his new water wings) and The General didn't let the water stop him from telling mom and Mimi just what to do. Let's just hope his teachers are good at taking orders!
