The past month has gone by in such a flash that the only real evidence that it even existed is in the pictures we've managed to squeeze in along the way. We've continued on in true Strauss fashion -flying by the seat of our pants and keeping ourselves so busy that it is easy to mix up one day from the next. Here is the CliffNotes version to get you caught up to speed:
We celebrated Father's Day with some homemade brew for dad, a family portrait and some R&R fun at the casa.
Shorty and I took the boys to the New Braunfels Children's museum where Rhett was consumed with all things pretend and Reid got to get hands on with his buddy Jackson.
Rhett perfected the art of weed eating in style
I had an awesome time last weeek taking Rhett to his first movie (Toy Story 3) with our neighbor Paula and her daughter, Rhett's BFF, Carson. There is nothing better than a large popcorn and peanut M&Ms for dinner!!
Rhett said a sad goodbye to Gymboree and Mr. Aaron in his last class on July 7th. I'm not sure who was more upset- Rhett or Mr. Aaron. Rhett is looking forward to starting preschool and meeting his new teacher at the end of August and Reid can't wait to begin a Gymboree legacy of his own. He starts classes in September.
Our friends, The Daigles, came for a visit. Rhett and Andrew keep busy riding Allie, Allie Gator that is, and enjoying the outdoors. They played; they swam; they ate.
Below are some pictures to prove it and a cute video of Rhett's last Gymboree class. Enjoy!!
I love the pics each one better than the last. Rhett is growing up to fast also. Rhett has great fun whatever he is doing. I see he still has his weedeater I made a wise choice.
